Rev. Patty Hanneman

Rev. Patty Hanneman (she/her) is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister living in Durham, NC with her partner, Karen Hill.  She holds a masters degree in Liberal Arts from Duke University with a certificate in women’s studies and an emphasis in cultural anthropology.  She earned her MDiv degree at Meadville Lombard Theological School at the University of Chicago.  She is also a certified Spiritual Director.
Rev. Patty has previously served our ministry as a campus minister at Duke University and as a parish minister in Hillsborough, NC.  Now partially retired, she loves supporting colleagues by offering ministerial support for their congregations during their vacations and sabbaticals, as well as being in private practice as a spiritual director and consultant to congregations and other non-profit organizations.  You can usually find her preaching at Peace Fellowship on the 1st Sunday of each month.
Her passions include really good food, her two children and five grandchildren, biking the American Tobacco Trail, hiking along the Eno River, and traveling to new parts of the world to bike or hike.
